Thank you for considering the LLG
All funds donated to the LLG are used solely for the purpose of supporting our mandate; that is protection of the Eastern Slopes. Our organization is totally volunteer driven, and there are no administrative costs.
Donations to the LLG are handles in a couple of ways:
If the donated funds are stipulated for a particular purpose by the donor (eg. the current coal mining challenge in the Eastern Slopes), the funds are deposited into a specific account and used solely for this purpose.
If no specific purpose is identified by the donor, the funds are put into our general revenues and moved to support identified projects as a need arises.
The LLG is not a registered charity, so we are not able to issue tax receipts for income tax purposes. If this is important, there are other organizations involved in similar activities that can do this.
